Discipleship Preparation and Training for Ordination
— Recognizing God’s Call to Serve in Gospel Ministry.
CBM Bible Academy Requirements:
• Ongoing participation and service in Central Bible Ministries.
• Invitation from Pastor John Smith to participate.
• Daily time alone with God in prayer and reading your King James Bible.
• Regular presence and participation in class.
• Additional reading, reflection, study, and dialogue with other participants.
CBM Bible Academy Schedule:
• Tuesdays in Person 8:30 — 11:30AM
• Tuesdays on ZOOM 6:00 — 9:00PM
CBM Bible Academy Structure:
• Inviting God to speak to our hearts through the Holy Spirit.
• Reading Scripture and our text books out loud together.
• Rotating readers among the willing.
• Pausing for comments and discussion as desired.
CBM Bible Academy Duration:
• Two years.
CBM Ordination to the Gospel Ministry:
• Fitness for ministry assessment by Pastor John Smith and Pastor Stan Parker.
• Ordination services are scheduled during a Central Bible Ministries worship service.
